Rawa, or semolina, is a wheat-based ingredient widely used in South Indian cuisine, especially in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu. Made by grinding wheat without the husk, Rawa is used to prepare a variety of dishes like Rawa dosa, Rawa idli, upma, khichdis, and desserts such as Rawa Ladoo and Rawa halwa (also known as Rawa Kesari).
